In January 2007, Livy joined the Office of Student Affairs in the Cockrell School of Engineering. In addition to meeting with students for routine advising appointments, she coordinates the general engineering program.
Livy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Oregon in 1999 and a master’s degree in higher education administration from The University of Texas at Austin in 2005. In addition to working in the corporate world, she has worked at multiple universities around the country in different areas of student affairs. Livy is a member of the Academic Counselors Association, the Association of Professionals in Student Affairs, and the National Academic Advising Association.
