David Winn Livingston joined the Dean's staff at the Cockrell School of Engineering in June 2007. As Associate Director of Development, he helps alumni meet their philanthropic goals, working with donors to make outright gifts, create endowments, and set up planned gifts to benefit the School.
Before joining the team at the Cockrell School, David worked for the Vice President of Development at UT-Austin from 2003-2007, serving as a regional gift officer. Prior to joining the University, he was the owner of a private tutoring company, with customers in Austin and Houston. David is a proud alumnus of The University of Texas, graduating from the School of Liberal Arts in 1997, and recently became the father of a future Texas Longhorn.
