DJ Paine graduated from U.T. with a B.B.A. in Marketing in 1998. She started working at the Friends of Alec office in 1995 as a student assistant and became a full time staff member when she graduated. As Director of the Cockrell School’s Annual Giving Program, she oversees the student-managed call center by hiring and training callers, scheduling the calling sessions, managing the gift process and corresponding with donors. In the last ten years she has mentored more than 230 student callers and has seen the School’s annual giving donations go from $600,000 a year to more than $1.4 million.
