Christina Peppas joined the Engineering Career Assistance Center in August 2007. She was initially hired as a career advisor and supervisor of the student worker program before assuming her current position of career counselor in July 2008. Her primary role is to assist students individually with all aspects of the job search and provide career-related workshops and presentations.
Christina graduated from Boston University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She then served as a reference assistant at the BU School of Management Library, in addition to teaching English and drama classes at St. Herman of Alaska Christian School. She enjoyed working as administrative assistant in the special events department of The Preservation Society of Newport County before relocating to Austin. Prior to joining ECAC, Christina worked in Liberal Arts Career Services at UT Austin.
Christina is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the Texas Campus Career Council (TC3).
