Jack Prather began working in the FIC during his time as a student in the College of Communication and in 2008 he was hired full-time. As the FIC’s distance learning coordinator, he oversees all web-based distance learning activities of the FIC as well as videoconferencing and other multimedia needs of faculty. Jack works toward improving the experience of students and the overall capability of the Cockrell School of Engineering to deliver first-class distance learning courses. Jack uses his experience in film and television production to enhance the quality of the FIC distance learning presentations. Jack has a B.S. from The University of Texas at Austin.
