Laura Wick joined the Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC) staff in July 2008. She serves as Career Advisor, assisting students individually with various aspects of their job search. Laura also coordinates the student worker program and maintains contact with graduating students, in order to track accommodation statistics and provide continued career assistance to those still in the job search.
Laura graduated in 2004 from the University of Dallas with a bachelor's degree in History. Prior to coming to The University of Texas at Austin, Laura worked as an english assistant in Normandy, France and at the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Laura worked for UT Austin at the Liberal Arts Career Services office before joining the ECAC.
Laura became a member of the Texas Campus Career Council (TC3) in 2007, and currently serves as the Communications Chair. She is also a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE).
