The following list provides the history of salary increases for Classified and Administrative and Professional Staff from 1972 to 2008 as determined by the Texas Legislature.  If you have any questions, please contact the Engineering HR Office.

2001-02 New minimums (increase of 3.5%), 4% or $1,200 (whichever is greater) state mandated increase for employees with at least 12 months continuous service as of 9/1/01 4% salary increase pool (2% provided by Administration, 2% provided from current dept. funds)
2000-01 $50/month for salaries under $30,000; new minimums, 6% increase pool; 4% pool for A&P
1999-00 $100/month; new minimums; 6% increase pool
1998-99 3% merit pool; new minimums; 2.1% pool for A&P
