Graduation In Absentia Information for Undergraduate (BS) Students


If you are planning to graduate in DECEMBER 2009 and you are NOT currently enrolled at UT, you must apply to graduate In Absentia.

 

Listed below are the criteria for students that were enrolled at UT in the previous long semester (Fall):

 


If you are planning to graduate in DECEMBER 2009 and you are NOT currently enrolled at UT and you were NOT enrolled at UT in the previous long semester (SPRING) you must 1.) apply to graduate In Absentia AND 2.) BE READMITTED TO UT.

 

Listed below are the criteria for students that were NOT enrolled at UT in the previous long semester (Spring 2009):

Deadlines for outstanding coursework are as follows:

October 21, 2009 -- Credit by Exam
All credit by exam grades must be posted to your degree audit by October 21, 2009.  Please check with the Measurement and Evaluation Center for details about getting your grade posted. 

October 21, 2009 -- Correspondence (Distance Education)
All correspondence courses must be completed with final grades posted to your degree audit by October 21, 2009.

October 21, 2009 -- Incompletes (Grades of X)
All incomplete grades must be resolved with final grades posted to your UT transcript by October 21, 2009

GRADUATION ORIENTATION!!

Are you a senior planning on applying for graduation for the upcoming fall session? Are you looking for more information on how to apply, the steps you should take, and services available to you after graduation? At orientation, you will learn about the graduation application and process; commencement details; procurement of your cap, gown and announcements; and resources that are available to you as an alumnus. 


Orientation meetings will be held in the ECJ 10th floor Large Conference Room on the following dates:


September 17   3-4:00 p.m.    
October 7         12-1:00 p.m.
