If you are planning to graduate in MAY 2008 and you are NOT currently enrolled at UT, you must apply to graduate
In Absentia.
Listed below are the criteria for students that were enrolled at UT in the previous long semester (Fall):
- You may NOT use the regular online graduation application form.
- The application period is January 14, 2008 through March 24, 2008.
- There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the March 24, 2007 deadline.
- A check or money order (payable to UT Austin) for $25 is required for the In Absentia fee; cash and credit cards are NOT accepted.
- All bars must be cleared prior to application.
If you are planning to graduate in May 2008 and you are NOT currently enrolled at UT and you were NOT enrolled at
UT in the previous long semester (FALL) you must 1.) apply to graduate In
Absentia AND 2.) BE READMITTED TO UT.
Listed below are the criteria for students that were NOT enrolled at UT in the previous long semester (Fall):
- You may NOT use the regular online graduation application form.
- The application period is January 14, 2008 through March 24, 2008.
- There are NO EXCEPTIONS to the March 24, 2008 deadline.
- A check or money order (payable to UT Austin) for $25 is required for the In Absentia fee; cash and credit cards are NOT accepted.
- $60 is required for the readmission fee; students may pay this bill through "What I Owe".
- All bars must be cleared prior to application.

All incomplete grades must be resolved with final grades posted
