Generally, the first two years include a mix of introductory engineering courses, math, science, English, social sciences, and humanities. During the next two years, students investigate their engineering specialty with major specific courses. Practical work experience through internships and co-ops may also be an integral part of the engineering program. Many students choose to participate in additional academic programs, enjoy a study abroad experience, work part-time or participate in extracurricular activities to broaden their college experience.
