Our Purpose
The Corporate Relations team strives to align companies' interests and those of the School to maximize their visibility and recognition on campus and to provide core support for college programs. Ways to Give
There are many ways to support Texas Engineering, some of which may even allow donors to provide more than they realize. Gifts to Texas Engineering may be made as unrestricted support or as support for a purpose that you designate.
Give Unrestricted Funds
Unrestricted funds present the college the greatest flexibility to meet its most imperative needs and promising opportunities.
Create an Endowment
Endowments are the gifts that keep on giving. The funds are invested by the UT System, and the interest generated by that investment is used for the purpose you wish to support—financial aid, merit awards for students, supplemental salary support for faculty, program support, research and more. A portion of the income is re-invested each year, enabling the endowment to continue to grow and provide a predictable, stable stream of income over time.
Donate Equipment
The Cockrell School of Engineering is known for the uncommon experience graduates get with modern and sophisticated equipment. It is a constant challenge to stay current and cash or in-kind gifts from friends and alumni are most appreciated. Equipment donations are used for research, teaching, and program support. Make a Pledge
You may pledge your gift now, and make payments on your pledge over a one, two or three year period, depending upon the size of the gift. To make a pledge, contact a corporate relations team member.
Match Funds
Matching gift programs are a fundamental source of support. As a benefit to your employees, your organization can increase the impact of employees' gifts to the Cockrell School of Engineering by matching employees' contributions.
