For a one-time payment of $50, you will receive SWE membership for the remainder of your collegiate years, as well as your first year of professional membership. Professional membership is otherwise $100 annually, so it's definitely a great option.

Attention SWE graduate students! We will be holding our first meeting--"Tips and Tricks for Teaching Your First Class"--on Monday, November 16th, from noon to 1pm in BME 3.204. Young faculty members will share their wisdom concerning how to teach your first class. They will explain how to set up your first syllabus, how to plan the semester, how to keep lectures interesting, and how to relate to students. Lunch will be provided! SWE is hosting a leadership workshop, that focuses on the differences between management and leadership in industry versus college. SWE is holding a donation-based bake sale to benefit our CEW summer camp, and we need your help! The bake sale is on Thursday, November 19th, from 10am to 3pm, at the ECJ Plaza. SWE is updating its test bank and will give out SWE Store coupons to anyone who donates old tests! For every 3 tests you contribute, you will get a coupon for 1 snack. Bring your tests to the SWE office or to meetings, and we will photocopy them and return them to you.
