Welcome to the Technology Entrepreneurship Society!
The Technology Entrepreneurship Society started off representing
the entrepreneurial-minded individuals in the College of
Engineering, but in the recent years, we have broadened our
scope to include everyone at UT who is interested in
starting a technologically-focused venture, regardless of their
college or major. In addition to the usual General Meetings and
Social Events we have every semester, we also organize the Idea to Product®
(I2P) UT Austin Competition every Spring and the Idea to Product
Seminar Series every Fall. Our mission is to promote
innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology commercialization
at the University of Texas at Austin. We do this by:
-
Presenting students with valuable entrepreneurial experiences
-
Providing education in technology
commercialization
-
Facilitating
student networking
We are fully sponsored and supported by the
Chair of Free Enterprise within the College of Engineering.
