All of our events up until the competition will be held in ACES 2.402 at 6:00pm

3/1/2007	I2P® Kickoff Event:  "How to be an Innovator" Come out to this TES social event to discuss your entrepreneurial ideas.  Also, Dr. Norman Schumaker (innovator and founder of several tech companies) will give a short presentation to get you excited about entrepreneurship!  This is a great opportunity for you to form teams for I2P®. *FREE food will be provided for all members! *DOOR PRIZE:  2GB USB DRIVE! 3/8/2007	Workshop #1:  "What's your idea worth?" Librarian Dorothy Carner will show you how to use the University’s library resources to obtain key market statistics for your I2P® entries.  This is a crucial workshop for potential competitors.	ACES 2.402 6:00pm
3/22/2007	Workshop #2:  I2P® Rapid Challenge Learn about the I2P® procedures in a fast-paced technology commercialization workshop. *Prize:  Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo!	ACES 2.402 6:00pm
3/29/2007	Workshop #3:  "The Team Project" (Submissions Review Session) Get your entries screened and critiqued; helpful and constructive suggestions and comments will be supplied to improve the quality of your entries.	ACES 2.402 6:00pm
4/2/2007	I2P® UT Austin Competition--First Round Submissions Due First Round Submissions are due before 11:59pm on Monday, April 2nd.  They are to be submitted via email to Dr. Scott Evans, program coordinator (EvansRS@gmail.com).  More details here.	View official instructions
4/5/2007	Workshop #4:  "How to protect your idea" Get helpful hints from attorney Michael Davis in the field of intellectual property (IP).  For I2P® semifinalists, this workshop will educate you on how you can protect your idea and still sell your product. ** I2P Semifinalists will also be announced. **	ACES 2.402 6:00pm
4/12/2007	Workshop #5:  "Pitching your idea" Presentation skills are crucial for the survival of any salesperson; this is no different for an entrepreneur.  Brett Cornwell, from UT's IC2 Institute, will advise you on how to give a solid I2P® presentation.	ACES 2.402 6:00pm
4/19/2007	I2P® Dry Run Presentations • REQUIRED FOR ALL SEMIFINALISTS!!! • Faculty members, entrepreneurs, investors, and attorneys (some of them judges for the competition) will be on hand to watch each presentation, ask questions, and provide feedback for improvement. • At least one judge will provide one-on-one feedback for each team. • Turn in your Semifinals Technology Summary.
