Idea
to Product: Technology Innovation & Commercialization Seminar
Series
What is the
Idea to Product Seminar Series?
The Idea to Product (I2P) Seminar Series is targeted
towards students of all colleges who are interested in
technology entrepreneurship. This course was created to help
bridge the gap between technology, entrepreneurship, and
business skills with the help of guest speakers such as CEOs of
technology firms and professors at UT. Although the I2P Seminar
Series is a class, anyone may attend. The
Seminar educates students in the up-and-coming fields of
Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Information Technology, and
others. This
year's seminar series is hosted by TES and the Chair of Free
Enterprise, as well as the Cockrell School of Engineering, the College
of Natural Sciences, the Graduate Engineering Council (GEC),
Nanotechnology at UT Austin, UT Engineering Faculty Women's
Organization, and the following departments: CS, ECE, ME, and
BME.
