The policy of the Cockrell School is that students should not be registered in both The University of Texas at Austin and another college at the same time. In a situation in which that is the only realistic way a student can get a given course, exceptions may be made.
If a student does have concurrent registration, courses taken at the other college will be countable toward the student's engineering degree at The University of Texas at Austin only with prior written approval by the dean. Approval may be requested by submitting an application online. Direct any questions to the Engineering Office of Student Affairs, ECJ 2.200, 512-471-4321.
Concurrent enrollment is not permitted during the semester in which a student expects to graduate.
