Whether your student is preparing for entering the Cockrell School or currently enrolled, we hope you find these tips and resources helpful for encouraging your student to develop their intellectual passions and to become independent adults.

Visitors

We appreciate your interest in the Cockrell School and offer these suggestions for making your visit to campus and Austin more pleasant.

High School Counselors: It takes cooperation and collaboration to deliver the information that students need to make good decisions about higher education. We hope the information here helps to make your job easier.

Recruiters: We appreciate your interest in our students. We look forward to assisting you with your recruiting and meeting you during your campus visit.

Group Visits: The university welcomes groups of 10 or more students in grades 8-12 for afternoon group visit sessions every weekday.

Self-Guided Tours: Print this guide to assure you make the most of your sightseeing on the "Forty Acres."

Request Volunteers: Schedule classroom visits or volunteers who are Cockrell School engineering students and Central Texas Discover Engineering professional engineers.
