Microwave with Pen to Read Barcode[4] |
||
| The microwave comes with 4,000 pre-set barcodes and their cooking times for a variety of foods. Other codes can be added from a database of 20,000 barcode recipes from the Beyond Network through a device called the Home Hub. The Home Hub gets information through the internet, from the weather to your calendar, and can receive new recipes for your microwave. Other products from the same company include a bread maker that follows the recipes based on the barcode of the products and a coffeemaker that can be programmed to make coffee at different times everyday. All these products communicate wirelessly. [5]
