Consider Every Option (CEO)

CEO is a hands-on day camp (non-residential) that allows high school women to explore how engineering benefits society and impacts the world. Students can participate in any or all of the five topic-focused days.

Each day, participants will:

  • Discover a variety of engineering areas and exciting career options
  • Explore their interests through sessions (tours, presentations and activities) led by industry professionals, engineering faculty and graduate students
  • Experience the creativity of engineering design through hands-on engineering projects

Sixty participants are selected based on their completed CEO application. A $50 non-refundable registration fee is required for each day of participation upon admission to the program. Participants attending all five days pay only $225. Registration fee scholarships are available.

Parents are NOT REQUIRED to attend CEO; however, parents are invited to participate in a separate information session. During the Parent/Guardian Information Session representatives from the Cockrell School of Engineering will be available to answer questions about admissions, housing, scholarships, etc. After the session is over, parents will have free time to explore the UT campus.
