Evening with Industry Banquet

The annual WEP Evening with Industry Banquet is a networking event hosted by the Women in Engineering Program. More than 30 companies and 300 students, faculty and industry representatives are expected to attend each year.

The Banquet, which takes place the night prior to Spring Engineering EXPO, is an excellent way for students to interact with industry representatives and learn about summer internships, co-op and full-time career opportunities. Attendees participate in a networking reception prior to dinner, enjoy networking and an awards presentation during dinner, and visit with company representatives at the conclusion of the program.

Students sign up on a first-come, first-served basis to sit with company representatives at company-sponsored tables. Corporate sponsorship of a table at the Evening with Industry Banquet is $1,500. Sponsorship of a table will reserve ONE Banquet table for TWO company representatives and SEVEN students.

"This event is the reason I now have a co-op this following summer through the fall semester. I met my now manager there during the networking portion of the night and he immediately followed up with me afterwards. Thanks so much for helping me make that connection!"

"Thank you for getting us to get up and network at the end! I talked with one of the companies for most of that time. Although they didn't have any jobs for me, they gave me lots of good advice which helped at EXPO."
