Women Engineers in LittlefielD (WELD)
The Women Engineers in LittlefielD (WELD) Program provides first year women in engineering the opportunity to live together in a residential community. Participation in WELD allows students to:
- live in a tight-knit community of women who have common interests
- live in the oldest and smallest residence hall on campus
- live in the closest dorm to the engineering complex
- form study groups right where they live
WELD participation is limited to 30 students. WELD participants will receive a $1,000 WEP scholarship for participating.
Housing Timeline:
- Apply for Housing - you may start applying for housing October 1st; the earlier you apply the earlier you will receive a housing contract
- Pay your Enrollment Deposit by May 1st; you will not receive a housing contract until you've paid the enrollment deposit
- Complete and return your housing contract by your assigned deadline (select Littlefield as your first housing choice)
