Women in the Second year of Engineering (WISE)

Women In the Second year of Engineering (WISE) is a group of second year women who are interested in making new friends, exploring academic and career opportunities and developing leadership skills.

Starting with the Welcome event to help you make new friends and reflect on your goals, the WISE events are designed to help you figure out possible career paths and showcase previously unknown opportunities for you as an engineer. Interaction with alumni volunteers and WEP industry partners will help you practice your networking and small talk skills in a safe, low stress environment. Crafting a LinkedIn profile and having a professional headshot will set you up for internship/co-op and full time job search success. Each program is unique, valuable and worth your time as you explore engineering and the many creative things you can do with your degree!

WISE Members are given priority or exclusive access to the following events/programs listed below. Members should commit to attending at least 8 events in order to qualify for participation scholarships.
