Graduates

Graduates Linked with Undergraduates in Engineering (GLUE) is a new program supported by the Women in Engineering Program (WEP).  Undergraduates are assigned to a graduate student mentor within their major, assist with research projects 3-5 hours per week, and participate in a weekly seminar class for credit.

  • Remember life as an undergrad when you didn't know what research or graduate school was all about?
  • Interested in sharing your research and experiences?
  • Want some practice mentoring and teaching undergraduate students?
  • Looking for some activities and experiences to round out your resume?

GLUE could be for YOU!

Applications are closed for Spring 2005.
Spring 2006 applications will be available October 2005.

Graduate GLUE mentors receive the opportunity to build mentoring and teaching skills, gain 3-5 hours of assistance on research work for 12 weeks in the spring semester, add key skills and volunteer activities to the resume, and have the opportunity to interact with other undergraduate and graduate students along with faculty and industry partners participating in or supporting GLUE.

The Spring 2005 mentor program and workshops were supported by Shell.
