I focus on making engineering education better so that more students are attracted to it, and our students are better prepared for the exciting work they will do as engineers."

Dr. borrego's advice to current students: "Ask for help!. At some point in your career, the work will get too difficult to tackle on your own. For many students, this happens when you move from high school to college. I ask for help all the time in my work. It's a sign of maturuty to say, "I can't do this on my own" and then go to office hours or start studying with friends sho complement your learning and thinking styles. The best study partners are not always the first people you would pick to be your friends, so look around for who seems to be as conscientious about school work as you".
