Braden Program for Engineering Communication

The Braden Program for Engineering Communication teaches Texas Engineers to communicate successfully and professionally, now and in their future careers. Funded by the Cockrell School and the Braden Endowment for Excellence in Technical Communication, the program is committed to developing learning opportunities for all Texas Engineering students, both undergraduate and graduate.

The required engineering communication courses currently provide instruction and practice in technical writing and presentations, but many students and alumni have asked for additional opportunities to improve their communication skills. The Braden Program provides workshops, TA training and additional writing assistance for undergraduates, and also offers workshops and opportunities for technical writing assistance to all graduate students.

Whether you are a student, faculty member or an alumnus, the Braden Program is dedicated to transforming Texas Engineers into effective technical communicators.
