How to Apply to MITE
The MITE application for 2017 opens February 1, 2017 and closes March 15, 2017.
Applicants must be current high school juniors (students who will be entering their senior year in the fall semester of 2017) when they submit their application.
- Applicants must reside in the United States.
- Applicants should meet at least ONE of the following academic criteria by the deadline in order for their application to be considered:
a.) Score a minimum of 620 on the SAT Math section
b.) Score a minimum of 620 on the PSAT Math section
c.) Score a minimum of 26 on the ACT Math section
d.) Rank in the top 10% percent of their class
- Complete an application.
a.) Online Application, including short answers and university admissions essay
b.) Student Resume
c.) Parent Acknowledgement Form (English or Spanish)
d.) Recommendation Form completed by a science, math, or engineering teacher
e.) High School Counselor Form
f.) Official High School Transcript
- Additional Documents Needed after Acceptance Notice
a.) Copy of Birth Certificate and/or Copy of Passport
b.) Release and Consent Forms
