In addition to online job boards, we provide opportunities for connecting with students in person through interviews and info sessions in Texas Engineering facilities and career fairs.

Interviews

Employers may conduct interviews in the fall and spring semesters and may choose a pre-select or room-only option for interviewing students. Pre-select schedules allow recruiters to take advantage of our online recruiting services for posting the job, receiving resumes, selecting candidates and scheduling interviews. Room-only scheduling allows recruiters to contact students and schedule interviews directly. There are no room charges or fees to participate in on-campus interviews.

Pre-select interviews may be scheduled up to a year in advance. Room requests are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because interview dates fill up quickly, we suggest reserving your interview dates as early as possible. Reserve interview dates by requesting a schedule through our online recruiting system or by emailing the recruiting team at This email address is being protected from spambots. Information Sessions

Employers interested in increasing their visibility on campus and maximizing recruiting efforts are welcome to host an information session, an on-campus presentation that employers give students the evening before interview dates. These events provide an opportunity for students to learn more about your organization and for you to increase your visibility and gain name recognition among students.

To make a request to host an information session, please log in to our online recruiting system, and complete the Information Session Request form.

There are no room or equipment charges to participate for information sessions arranged by the Engineering Career Assistance Center in the Cockrell School of Engineering.

Career Fairs

Participating in career fairs help employers build their presence and name recognition on campus, allows your organization to advertise future on-campus recruiting dates and events and offers an opportunity to talk informally with students about the types of positions available within your organization. Learn more about Texas Engineering Career Fairs

Job Board

Employers unable to participate in on-campus interviews or who have positions they need to fill quickly are encouraged to post jobs to the ECAC System job board used by Cockrell School of Engineering students.

Cockrell School ECAC System
This job board is available to registered users of the Engineering Career Assistance Center (ECAC) recruiting system. Employers may post full- and part-time jobs exclusively for Texas Engineering students who are registered to use the system. Posting is a free service.
