Application Criteria:

  • Application materials must be postmarked by March 27, 2020, to be considered on time.
    • High School Transcript must be mailed in. Electronic copies will not be accepted.
    • All other materials and forms can be sent electronically.
  • Applicants must be current high school juniors and reside in the United States at the time they submit their application. Sign up to receive general information from Texas Admissions.
  • Applicants should meet at least one of the following academic criteria by the deadline in order for their application to be considered:
    • Score a minimum of 620 on the SAT Math section
    • Score a minimum of 620 on the PSAT Math section
    • Score a minimum of 26 on the ACT Math section
    • Rank in the top 10 percent of their class
  • To complete the process, applicants must submit:
    • Online Application
    • Student Resume
    • Parent Acknowledgement Form (English or Spanish)
    • Recommendation Form completed by a science, math or engineering teacher
    • High School Counselor Form
    • Official High School Transcript
  • Additional documents needed after acceptance notice will be:
    • Copy of Birth Certificate and/or Copy of Passport
    • Release and Consent Forms
    • $75 non-refundable deposit
